Ah, to finally see the English countryside through an airplane window! (okay, it’s only been six weeks since, but i’ve still missed it!) The plane didn’t get delayed, the booked taxi showed up and I arrived in one piece and with six lovely summer holiday weeks to look forward too. Things could have been worse. :)

By the time this is published, I should be on board the Ryanair flight to Birmingham. Yay!
